New Africa Live is a movement to carve out a cultural space of belonging for the New African experience by producing art events that entertain, educate and create awareness on the value of African culture in a globalized world. These events strive to challenge homogenized notion of African cultural expression and celebrate New African artists as they express themselves in a multitude of languages, rhythms, media and genres. Ultimately, the movement hopes to forge a thriving arts community, which embraces a cosmopolitan spirit, urban hybridization and most importantly pride in the rich heritage of their homelands.
