Meat On A Stick (Uganda)

12-inch skewers
1 tsp. ground red pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 beef tenderloin or round steak
1 medium onion

Cut beef into bite size pieces. Peel and cut onions 1 inch thick. In a shallow bowl. Combine red pepper, garlic and salt. Coat beef with spices and add to seasoning. Preheat broiler or grill. Thread beef and onion pieces on to skewers. Broil 4-5 minutes or until beef is tender
